Hey There!

Thank you for all the kind notes about the baby! And also, for the your thoughts on Mr. Blonde(my dog who died a couple of months ago). Tom and I just got back from Maui and Kauai. We went to Hana in Maui and Hanalei in Kauai, both places are extremely lush from all the rain.

I've decided I'm going to start a file on the website, for my favorite travel spots and maybe some recipes. Since it seems like all I'm ever talking about is eating and traveling.

Speaking of eating, who's excited about Thanksgiving? It has to be hands down my favorite holiday. No presents. Even though I like presents(a lot). Thanksgiving is all about family, wine, food, friends, and leftovers. What could be better?

Enjoy your Turkey Day!

Christie Clark

My Aunt and Uncle, and their daughter (my cousin) and her husband live on Maui (in Keihi - did I spell that right?) and run 2 Curves for Women gyms there. My mother went to Maui for a visit the year before last and can't wait to go back again. She said it was gorgeous.

Oh and YES were are seriously hoping you come back to Days! We think it's dumb that ALL of Carrie's parents and step parents (with the excpetion of John now) are in Salem and Carrie is not - JUST DUMB! We were happy to hear you (Carrie) mentioned when Anna got up to speak at John's funeral, and to thank him for raising her daughter so well! I think we were all thinking - yeah and it's about time John was recognized for that! Carrie was the only Brady child that quickly got over John and Marlena's affair, probably because she was mostly raised by John and knew better than anyone how much he loved Marlena, and how devastated he was when he lost her. I'd love to hear your thoughts on Drake's departure - and maybe what Carrie might have said were she able to be at John's funeral.

Have you told any of your Days friends about the baby - I'm assuming you have. Did they give you any advice?

Christie, I'm so happy about your becoming a mom, soon. It's a wonderful new chapter in your life and an exciting new adventure that will last forever.

I'm so sorry about your puppy dog. I have a silky terrier, Molleigh, and she's like my baby. I lost a cock-a-poo, Muffy, when she was 17 years old and broke my heart. Never thought I'd ever have another puppy, but Molleigh changed my mind.

I'm a grandmother of 2 girls who live in Denver, CO and I live in Tennessee. I'm blessed with them, but so far away and only see them about twice a year.

I miss you on Days. You were wonderful and I enjoyed seeing Carrier grow up to a beautiful young lady. It sounds like you are so happy. I'm happy for you and you are enjoying wonderful travels.

God Bless you, your hubby and your new family that's coming soon.
